I still have 7 to get in this puzzle.
It was spread over 2 grids so giving the clues to people who didn’t see it might not be all that enlightening but if those who did see it can help (or those who didn’t) I’d be grateful. I apologise if this is under-clear

On the left-hand (A) grid, for 3d I have N-t-o-
for its partner clue on the right (B), I had Astray. The clue was :
‘People following 23A stars at start of year get lost (6;6)

I don’t know what 23A was – maybe ‘Stag’

27 across on the A and B grids I have :-m-s-i-g and -s-r----
The clue is:
“It’s very good to be destructive like a shark with American city of old notes” (8;8)
Perhaps the first one is ‘smashing’?

22 down the clue is: “Sunhat given to relation in the morning on doctor’s rounds.”(4;4) I have *o*i *m**

And for 23 down (which is linked to some other clues) the clue reads: “Male and Spanish girl together almost amount to theatricality.” (4;4)
The left grid word I have *t** (perhaps Stag?) and on the right grid *n**

Thank you for that, AB. I don't suppose that you could help (give the answers, i.e.!) with any of the others?

To pi? (sunhat given to relation - pi)
ammo? (am morning +mo doctor) -rounds of ammo. I see no concection between these two words though, so could be way off.

Smashing looks eh smashing and the last part could be related to loan shark - us+ ur (old city ) + ious (notes) - usurious?

I had all the bits of that scrawled on my paper but couldn't see the 'relation' (I do now, thanks to your answer). I was trying to shoehorn 'Kin' into there.
I still don't see the 'whole' clue but think you're right.
Thank you again.

The last one is smashing and usurious.

Smashing = double definition.

US + Ur + IOUs = like a (loan) shark

23 A. Looks like NATION (stag, from earlier clue, added would give 'stagnation')

Oh Yes! Again, I had thought of Usurious but was hooked on finding an American city - so I was well caught.
Once more, merci bien
