Well it was a very close contest.

2 votes for AB and Torkie
3 for Aristo but split across two clues

So the winner is Bullfrog with his marvellous clue at post 14.

Your prize is below and was the obvious choice I hope it gets your flag waving

Well done Bullfrog.

I've always found the diea of a room full of ladies singing "Bring me my arrows of desire" just too funny.

The vicar at my younger son's wedding said he would allow "Jerusalem" but did not like it and wouldn't allow it at Sunday services.
Great clip.

I agree Rosalind. I am not that keen on it myself. The inspiration for the word was the book I'm reading the biography of Jerusalem by Simon sebag montefiore which is a cracking read.

The video did make me laugh though

Congrats, Mr(.) Frog, and many thanks to this week's setter.
Rosalind: It may be trite, but I think it's beautiful.

Hi Aristo. Seems like we had the same idea. I composed my clues without checking what had gone before and then later saw you had beaten me to it. Great minds or fools seldom?

Thanks for the vote Torkie.

Well done Bullfrog for a great clue

Teehee, jws.
dj: Is it the song that makes you laugh, or the flag-waving, or both? Or the somewhat bombastic orchestration? Taken as pure melody I think it's inspired- it can even be whistled movingly. :)

Aristo, I think the music is beautiful and fits the words so well. I don't think anything written in the last 50 years is anything like so uplifting.
