So many wonderful clues, but there can only be one winner. So some drastic and probably unfair pruning is called for. A lot of people seem to think that the terms peeping tom and voyeur are interchangeable. I’m afraid that I don’t think that true in this day and age of outdoor recreational nooky.. If you quite openly walk up to a couple in their car and casually lean on the door and watch them go at it and they are happy for you to do this that makes you a voyeur. On the other hand if you hide in the bushes and watch them secretly through night-vision binoculars, that makes you a peeping tom. I am sorry, but I have felt obliged to rule out quite a lot of very clever clues on this point. You know who you are……………..

A few comments. If I have not included you I am sorry, no slight intended.
Djawhufc; captures the sleazy atmos beautifully. The Rogue,Paul and Pastille; subtle. Anniec; that “up” stuff adds so much to the sleaze factor. Aristo; I apologise if I’m wrong but I can only make it add up to peeping om. Rosalind; size isn’t everything you know. THEAMBLER; whimsical but I dare not risk offending our Cambridge chums. Wendy; clever, but how dare she call me a pervert. Lionheart; nicely done but, spy? Bigbadmarty2; cruising is an altogether different pastime. Jws; isn’t the horse who is bareback. Les40; sorry les, I didn’t get it, is it a cockney thing? Rambler; nice to see you here and a lovely complex anagram. Jamosa; too many gay undertones for my liking. Bullfrog and Peterm; very clever, very dark, but how can we honour two blokes who spend their evenings watching snuff movies.

Despite what I said about “voyeur” the prize goes to Francis (post 5). I couldn’t resist the younger = voyager (age less) bit and I’m sure the bit about members has some lurid hidden meaning that I can’t quite grasp. Here is your prize. A sort of warning to be careful when enjoying yourself having some camcorder fun ( it’s not obscene, so don’t be afraid to have a look, it should give you a laugh).

No probs if you didn't get it Phillip. you should have asked me though.

In cockney rhyming slang, a Lady Godiva is a Fiver (£5)

Well done FRANCIS

Interesting. Oxford, Collins and Chambers all have "voyeur" as the meaning of "peeping tom". Which dictionary do you use Phillip?

Thank you phillip.
The 27 members are the European Union (EU) which took the place of AGE.
Thanks for the prize which I enjoyed: does this make me into a Peeping Tom, or a VOYEUR ?

Well done FRANCIS!!! I thought there were some great clues submitted and also cannot see the significance of your distinction between PEEPING TOM and VOYEUR in this context, Philip. But I must commend you on giving such a detailed reasoning behind your choice of winner, and thank you for masterminding this week's Clueless.

ermmm...surely FRANCIS's entry is a clue for Voyeur, rather than Peeping Tom...

Francis; I got your clue in its entirety. my bit about members was supposed to be a joke.

Les40; I am sorry Les, you are right, I should have asked.

Torquemada: Did I overlook your effort. Never mind you could always treat yourself to a spot of auto de fe. It might cheer you up.
