I can't be the only one who looks at your posts whatever they're on, and enjoys them. I thought those of us who occasionally write something off-piste were jointly and severally accused of "drivel". Tant pis,or whatever the expression is.
I'm sorry you are having a bad time (meaning the life and death bit)

it may be that the critics see it more as some people occasionally write something on-piste.

Yes, if Andyc is up for it. They don't make 'em like that any more.
I'd best stick to halfs this time, though. Chardonnay, that is
Cheers!

teenieleek,

I think you may be over-reacting a bit here. There are always more posts at weekends, presumably when people are off work. If you have a look at 19 Feb - if I've counted correctly there are some 82 posts which is about average, then 60 for the 18th.

I think a lot of the prblem could be that people ask a question then forget where the heck they posted it - I know as I do that often.

When I log off now, I have to remember to check back in to see what you've said.

If only we had a button to click on which says "ACTIVE TOPICS" (i.e. since I last logged on) then I think there'd be more interest.

I'm not going to criticise the site but if Ash wants to attract the big advertisers, then he should redesign or even just tweak the site.

The Google listing is excellent but sadly, the design of the site just doesn't match up to it.

@ teenieleek again,

Sorry, hope I'm not coming over as being disagreeable but you said:

"so make yourselves known if only by a comment". Can't agree here, think there'd be nothing worse than lots of us saying "Sorry, can't help" or "wow, that's a hard one".
