Good morning! Hope this week's few present a wee challenge. J

I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!

Please withhold solutions till 5pm (GMT) to allow others to have a go.


1. Pretend it doesn’t hurt to get into war paint? (3,2,1,5,4)
2. Somehow I've lost all I once possessed, the land including the mount (8)
3. Hedge enclosure (5)
4. Keep present line in order to get the facts straight (3,3,6)
5. Doctor antiseptically removing Type A spot (9)

Have got 1 and 5, a possible for 3, snookered on the others!

Got 1,2 and 5 very quickly,have a possibility(which seems too simple!) for 3 - and no idea yet for 4.

Have now got 4, so all done.

Just checked in. Only got 5 right off. Should try to find out what kind of pancakes jazzgirl had. Already had breakfast, but what the heck- it's Fat Tuesday!
