*andy, did you get new Chambers for Christmas?

My wife treated me to the Chambers Dictionary 12th Edition (thumb indexed no less!!!).
It's a heavy tome of 1848 pages; hernia material if one is not careful lifting.

So I now have that and the Crossword Dictionary. No excuses then. Ha ha.

My better half [she tells me] thinks you're lucky man to have wife like that, may buy me Chambers if it keeps me out of way.

Yep I'm lucky. Hope you get one as well. As I say though, be careful when picking it up!
