I've just had an exchange of emails with someone who had not received their copy of the Winter Quiz.
It emerged after investigation the email filter at their workplace considered that question 22 contains an inappropriate word and had therefore quarantined the email....

Sallyw - yes we did, a hog roast and the Tailcocks were 'Trident tested'

MMQ - well that is not your problem and sorry to say it made me giggle.

Update on the Autumn Quiz
Marking and checking is now complete.
80 entries were received, of which 33 are correct.
I am now seeking a volunteer to draw the winning entry and/or donate the magnum of Champagne.....

Just bringing this back up to the top now it is December.

Q22 has only got 3 words in it. Which was inoffensive?

And why wasn't Q21 also considered offensive, I'm sure some people could be upset at 2 of the 3 words there too!

Some people and computers are just too sensitive. Still working at the quiz though - another five to go

Search the first and third words here and you will see see the alternative slang meaning. There is nothing offensive in either word normally.(Mrs Slocomb had problems with it for years ;)
I guess this why the email was not accepted.
