Only other two I cannot do are
Banker of kings and queens it is said (3)
Man in lime tree became this viscount (4,8). I can only think of linden for lime tree, but it does not get me much further on.

Peanut : I haven't any idea about the significant order. Usually it is alphabetical with variable spacing, e.g. the first clue begins with A, then three clues later comes B, and so on until clue 100, when they return to clue 2 with the next letter. This one I am wondering however whether it should be "no" significant order.

The quiz doesn't have to be returned until 14th April, so there is stacks of time. Unfortunately it is not yet available on line, but it is challenging and the proceeds go to help children in Malawi.

Am still stuck on clue 17 - Banker of kings and queens it is said (3).

Good luck

Thanks - it's certainly a good thought. On-line searches come up with lots of dubious "kings and queens", which I do not imagine the setter had in mind.
