Absolutely right - I had made a mistake with one of the clues ! Many thanks AB.

rare + ice is not a valid anagram. Surely there is a compiler error here?

Sorry just spotted it.

Can somebody explain this? I thought that "rare" itself was and anagram indicator so why is the answer being queried as a setter's error. Sorry if this is obvious, but I don't understand and I'm anxious to learn.

Letters in rare ice do not translate to the word Carrier.
