As I see it we have all the right answers to the clues and BUGGY is the word. Shortest clue I can think of offhand is.. Cart,(5).

...unless Thea's reference to "tees" was referring to golf!CAR would be even shorter,tho' not very precise,to put it mildly!

....or how about T CAR (as opposed to Z CARS)?

The on-line thesauri's are giving tub/van/bug as alternatives to "buggy".

But,I may be barking up the wrong tree...btw...well impressed with "Team Phillip".
