Mamya & Julie, Aberdeen. Glad you are enjoying the famous women challenge. I'll bring the food cryptics out as soon as I can.My two editors are working on the final draft and the webpage is ready.

Mamya, it's not the solutions that are risque, it's the clues! I defy anyone to clue "Chick peas" without bring risque and there are others I don't want to give away.

I am not trying to start an argument this is a genuine question

I am baffled as to why members are buying and supporting this quiz and I almost sense no one will be giving away answers (but I may be wrong) and yet there are over 200 replies to the get your L plates on quiz which has helped with easy clues or answers to most of it

The rainbow quiz if for an equally good cause and an equally good quiz.

Keenquizzer. I don't understand why you are 'baffled as to why members are buying and supporting this quiz'?
Please explain why you think they either wouldn't or shouldn't?

Either you didnt understand me or I worded it badly sorry

I admit its brilliant
What I was asking is why does the rainbow quiz and many other quizzes get so many answers or clues given and yet this one seems to so far have been singled out as one that members are going to do without spoiling it Members buying this one are the ones who give answers to the others does it mean that if anyone dares to ask they wont get answers and if so why

Hello keenquizzer,

This is the first charity quiz I have tried, and really enjoying.(down to 10)

I have not contributed to the L plates thread as I was previously mildly chastised for helping with another quiz, because it still had some time to "run".

Seemingly, some Quiz setters particular ask people not to ask for help online, as it has lead to the demise of some Quizzes.(not sure why?)

I feel if I did ask for hints/clues/answers I would probably get them, but, at this point will try to go it alone.

Give me another couple of weeks and I may be begging...

Take care

p@

keenquizzer has a perfectly good point, I try not to cause a stir on here or indeed anywhere but in my mind 'L' plates was ruined on here as was to a point the Rainbow quiz. If such restraint could be shown to those in future as is in this case it would lead to many happy quizzers.

Crosswords are ephemeral and short lived but these quizzes sit by you for weeks or months is disheartening to see them spoilt, good luck to all.

Also a few blanks don't hurt as I have learnt and can stand you in good stead for future understanding.

Plus we have the new one to look forward to as well - what more to ask??
