Since when does "there is an old saying" equal stealing from.
Your penchant for sticking your nose in and persistantly upping the unpleasantness level is why it is always you who gets involved in the bad rows. You are naturally gifted at making a difficult situation impossible.

Always credit your source - it's good internet etiquette.

@sally, I posted this thread to try and stop the arguments, not to attract more. I fear that you and a few others will never see eye to eye, unless sincere apologies are made on both sides. Please let bygones be bygones. Can we start afresh, as suggested in my original post. I do not understand how twitter works, but I think one can follow a person's posts, without joining in, unless invited to do so. So you would not get anyone arguing with you. Also, it is unlikely that anyone from this site will look unless they really want to. Then we can keep this site for crosswords and good humour. Matron x

Hello Matron,

I have managed to contact Sallyw "off site".

So, no worries.

I apologise to those, who for whatever reason seem to be offended by me...

But I will not be "bullied off" this forum.

So, still expect to "see me around".

I would love to chat with sallyw and pastille on facebook. But how can I get them without putting my details in the open? So I'm afraid here will have to do.

You could set up a throwaway email address to post on here and people could email you details privately if they wished. When that's done, delete the email account

Hello pastille and I am pleased you have managed to make "twitter" contact.
No one should be "bullied off" . We all want the arguments to cease...that's all !
