I did not know much about Wynton Marsalis, but this morning I watched a few video clips. I agree he is an accomplished musician and the speed of the "flight of the bumble bee" wow ! I see he also dueted with Satchmo.

I was listening to George Melly today for a change. Courtney Pine is a little different to my usual taste, but good.

Up to now,Trevor you have been very polite to me even when we have disagreed. Your criticism of this thread is valid but I don't think my being called 'inherently stupid' helps our relationship nor do I think the people who have posted on it so are 'feekin eejits or shite stirrers'. The thread will live or die democratically.
