Hi Navigator,

May I join in with your other pals in wishing you a very speedy recovery and that the side effects are not too unpleasant.

Surround yourself in crosswords and our warm wishes.

Kind regards

Wendy

RT finally arrived, unlike last week when neither mine nor my mum's came at all. Not the first time by a long way either. Anyway, that's trivial in the scheme of things - I add my best wishes to Navigator along with everyone else.
As for the crossword, I'm still stuck on 18d even with Pipesmoker's cryptic help. And I appear to be the only person who has failed on 3d...pointers please? Wordfinder easy enough though:-)

Thankyou for your kind thoughts for me.

I have said a wee prayer for Old Gal
going into hospital today for what will be a rather unpleasant stay.

Thanks for your help Molly - those were the lines I'd been thinking along but I STILL can't get them. Obviously having a very dense day. Can't even find the right number of letters for the anagram for 3d! I'll come back to it later in the hope that inspiration strikes.
