46 Lea - mark - tine - link word begins or ends with D

Can anyone see a different answer to this so I can use den for the other one?

Hi Suesan.

A couple of questions for you ...

Is there any reason that the same word ('den') cannot be used for both clues?

If there is a good reason then ... is the middle word in both clues 'mark' or should the 'Ounce - Mark - war' have had a different middle word? The reason I ask this is because the word 'ren' (= old 'run') could be used to make 'renounce' and 'warren'.

I just didnt think that the same answer would be used twice but there is nothing to say that it hasnt been used so Im now confused!!!

Yes both middle words are Mark and I havent seen any corrections posted on any forums etc
