Hi, Please can I have some help with the following clue in a fishing magazine:

Small red gnat larvae, used by match anglers for small fish - two in the pack? (6)

The clue does contain the question mark and I believe the third letter is K and fifth R. First letter maybe S

thanks
Rob

Thanks R I am sure you are correct but this rather messes up my last but one clue that I thought started with an S

Pike lure, specially weighted so that action is imparted via the (short, stiff) rod (8)

J???K?I? third letter maybe an 'R'

There is such a thing as a Jerkbait lure but the 'K' I have is not the forth letter but the fifth?

Rob,

Jokers is correct according to searching on 'joker larva' on Yahoo.

I will look into the other one now.

R

I totally agree Jokers is the correct answer and I am sure Jerkbait is the other answer but this means that an answer I thought was breadchunk now has to end in a 'B'

Rob,

Jerkbait is all I could find. How about 'breadcrumb' for the other one?
