15A Crazy, bishop leaving after years in a city on the Hudson (7) Y_N_E__

17D Winds in April abnormal on board (7) __I_C_S

The last letter in 15A is the first in 17D. For 15A the only word that I can make fit is Yankees, but I can't make sense of it.

Hi!

Yonkers for the first one and Spirals for the second. Sorry that makes the c wrong.

I changed yankees at 16A for YONKERS. B leaves bonkers, Y for years. No idea if it is an American city. Sounds unlikely!

For 17D, try anagram of April within the SS (ship). SPIRALS?
Have fun!

Hello,

Yonkers is the 4th largest city in NY state.

SS plus anagram of April, winds up not winds blow!

Thanks Gents. I had 22A as Titanic, but should have been Titania!

It all makes sense now.
