What do you think about CATNIP for No 1,
Cat = Lady
Nip = Pinch

Thanks Siamcat that was a good lead. I have searched the RHS site and found 'twelve o'clock flower'. It is from the Abutilon family and has several other common names. Also thanks Les40 for catnip. I had this before but am not sure of the lady=cat. Nothing better is coming to mind!
