How are we expected to find this place if it is a secret?

i'm also confused as there's a secret bunker nearby to where i live and i could never understand why they advertise it in local newspapers and road signs directing you towards it, surely if there is that much publicity they cannot call it secret anymore, perhaps bunker does not have the same appeal

were they "secret" during the second big one - ww2?

they are about 50 years old and were built as a consequence of the cold war and were nuclear bunkers

thanks Helena I was thinking about stuff maybe twice the size of my front room. I guess these are more like underground carparks.
(also exposed my humour bypass there)

The trouble with underground bunkers is that, no matter how careful you are with the sand wedge, the ball tends to bounce back and hit you on the head. No wonder Hitler was no good at golf, he was stymied from the start!

does anyone remember a thread where we had to pick the odd one out?

what was the was the answer to the number one, i think that the alternatives were 30, 40,50, 70,80 and 90
i've just remembered about it

Answer: 60

It was the only 2-digit multiple of 10 in base 10 greater than 10 that was missing from the sequence and also the only one with a '6' in it.

I remember this and I gave the answer as 60 as it was the only no.in the sequence that was not a motorway.M30 M40 M50etc all nos.of motorways.
Never did hear if this was the correct answer though.
