I've just had a couple of semaines en vacances and I'm staggered to see you lot of nutters are still trying to find the poseur of the day (I think it's JimB). Helena, I'm glad somebody missed me (that doesn't happen at home). No, the girl from the bottom of the page wouldn't go with me - I'm stuck with virtue instead of virtual. John from A - you lost me, but I did once ride a motorbike from John O'Groats to Lands end in 21 hours 8 minutes. JimB YOU ARE NOT BEGGING THE QUESTION! Stop lowering the tone!
Poser: Could an oxymoron get a first at Cambridge?

Hi J frae A
Have you seen the football score - you are going to need all the emoticons you can lay hands on, not to mention the Co-op Cabernet, unless of course you are Norvege...

Do you not think 'Welcome to the Monkey House' is not appropriate? Trevor?

Do you mean irrelevant, or Non-PC - or something else -?

(I am the 1st 2).

HEALTH WARNING.
I have been to hospital with pains in the index finger of my right hand.Diagnosed as Repetitive Strain Syndrome.
Brought about by scrolling constantly through the 327 posts on this thread.
BE WARNED.

I am now additionally suffering from extreme depression after watching Scotland being humped by a pretty poor Norwegian side.

I know it's an old one but I can't resist it.

What is the definition of a Scottish gentleman.

I agree with you having been wakened up every morning at 6am for two years by bagpipes.
I believe that they are one instrument that sounds better the further away you are from it.

Welcome back from your couple of semaines en vacances. I am not sure if I should be flattered or horrified to note that you think I may be the poseur of the day.

However, I must insist, in the interest of political correctness, that in transmogrifying (what a wonderful word) the word Poser (question) into the word poseur (someone who strives to impress others), you don't lose sight of the feminine version, poseuse, a number of whom contribute to this forum and this particular thread (I'm so glad to note)

By the way, how are those delightful knees of yours?

Hi JimB, (could we call you Jimbo?) There seems to be a terrible echo in here.
Knees are decrepit, thanks.
