maths (as taught in schools these days)seems to have changed a bit. Sample question from recent exam:-
If David has 6 sweets and Peter has 4, How many times must David hit Peter before he has 10 sweets.

It would rather depend on whether they were both sadomasochists in which case they would probably settle for five sweets each, but, should the teacher be a dominatrix, she would end up with all ten plus a bag of smarties from the headmaster who, possibly, could be a voyeur....... the permutations are endless!!! I just can't see for the moment where the Board of School Governors fit in the equation!
