Any ideas with these, they are singers or groups of the 1970's.

1. Knock, knock, knock - when?
2. Tom Jones asked her for an update.
3. 0523411472

What a shame you need to ask the easy ones
They are already thinking of stopping setting this brilliant quiz and this isnt going to help
Some of us sat and looked through all the songs from the 70s on everyhit to find the answers

Googling for 0523411472 reveals that it is the ISBN of a book about "Mott The Hoople" by Willis Manard. Any help?

Yes I do and no I am not
Its too early and these are not the difficult questions these are the easy ones
If they cant do these and be honest how long did it take go google to find mott the hoople then they have no chance of the rest and should abandon it the charity has their money

Thank you John and Trevor,

As for you WELLWELL I also have spent all weekend looking through British hit singles, Rare record price guide and Guinness hit singles for the answers.
LMGIFU 0523411472 still gives me no answers only scientific data.

Seems that i've answered all the hard ones then.

Celadon.

Good Morning Everyone.

I'm glad this is from a charity quiz. It's always nice to support a good cause.

My first thought for no.2 was the Tom Jones song "What's New, Pussycat".
However, it appears to have be released in 1965 and this is a 1970s quiz; also, the Pussycat (Dolls) probably weren't even born in the 1970s.

So, I'm sorry to have been no help this time :(
