Never mind the honorary membership Les. If you play football at any level we are desperate for players and I am sure your qualifications will satisfy the SFA.

I played as a goalkeeper for 10 years Joker, I am merely an armchair supporter now.
Which team up there does your allegiance lie with my friend?

You have amazing powers Julie,as I played rugby until I got too old for it,and all the youngsters were able to outrun me.
So glad you're a Hibby . At least one person on here who won't mention the Scottish Cup!

pastille, that is great to hear! I am actually a Donegal man who came here many, many years ago, aged 4. Dundee and Tayside is a lovely part of the world. Welcome misko, hope you enjoy the site!

You read above that I used to play football, Our team once went over to play a team from Donegal, a small place called Bally-bofey, we ended up on an extended drinking session and no football took place, but we had a great time.
My centre-half ended up meeting and marrying a girl from there.
The connection with Donegal was that one of our players had relatives there, and that lads son is now the goalkeeper for Preston North End.

Yes, they like a wee drink in Donegal! There was a girl from Ballybofey working as a barmaid in my local a few years ago when she was a student here in Dundee. A very nice young lady indeed. My family are from further to the West, in the area known as The Rosses.
