Reminder to all - this is a CROSSWORD HELP FORUM! But if people keep pandering to this sort of rubbish, it will get worse.

Their is a recently deceased pigeon on my shed roof, which I think was an unfortunate victim of a sparrowhawk attack, this didn't bother me at first, but now I've took closer inspection and realised it is one of Jack Duckworth's from his Coronation Street loft, I have become quite star-struck and made it a wreath from odd daisies and dandelions, and said a few words of prayer, and would much appreciate it if you concerned TV celebrity idolisers would make donations to your local animal and wildlife sanctuaries by way of rememberance for this poor little fellow that appeared in 6 seperate episodes on ITV.

sallyw,

I am so with you, it a so sad.

The demise of any pigeon really does tug at my heartstrings.

@chav I hope it was not that most beautiful Double Crested Priest...a most handsome bird.

I hope she/he is in birdie heaven.

My thoughts are with you all

I had a delicious pigeon pie in Marrakech last year. Funnily enough it's called a Pastilla.

Bullfrog...

I am really happy and amazed by that "dish".

Oooh! a pastilla!

And,one of the most tastiest things I have ever eaten was .....wait for it.......Wood Pigeon. Peat Inn in Fife.

Even now, at the apllotment, I am eyeing up those tasty birds.

Numnum,
