Good morning all, I went down exactly the same (wrong)road as Chris4food where 17d is concerned! Thanks to you all for help in getting the correct answer (out comes the correction pen).

Enjoy the sunshine!

Pastille, how lovely to have an allotment.
You must have 'green fingers'. Today was so sunny you must have had a most productive day.
Hard work gardening, but crosswords can be set aside, when tilling the soil!

Good Morning Everybody - Well, I agree, it was a relatively easy one this week but after my brain had been completed addled by a heavy cold, being able to do the thing quite quickly was a pleasure! And OH! The Sunshine. So lovely down here on the South Coast; I've been sitting by the sea in the sun whilst Charlie has taken his leisure in the garden. We are at peace and can only wish all you lovely people the same thing.

Navigator. Glad to see you back again as I/we missed the previous two weeks.

Pipesmoker. Thanks your kind enquiry about my brother. He has been discharged from hospital to continue treatment at home. Meantime fingers crossed that all goes well.

I didn`t find this crossword as easy as some of the rest of you. Obviously I am not a patch on you Navigator!! I cant remember which clues are still unanswered as I too am away from home at my daughter`s in Stirling.

Are we missing Caravaggio this week?

Have a lovely sunny weekend everyone.

Karen. Just read some of the later entries for RT12. Hope your burnt hand is on the mend. Potatoes roasted in goose fat! That is a treat I keep for Christmas. Delicious!!

Hello Mondrian, the goose fat was left over from Xmas,we had that for dinner on the day!
I know 'Mondrian' is a nom de plume. I only ask because I think you said pre xmas last year that you had exhibitions to organize, and wondered if you'r an artist in your own right. You also seem to live near,ot around Glasgow. Just wondered if you belong to the 'Glasgow Arts Club'.
I've been there lots of times,as my sister is a member.
Speak soon x
P.S. Sorry if I've confused with someone else.
