Hello. One today if I may:
"Rent rebates come first in this down market shop" = 'discount store'. I suspect I'm maybe looking for something more intricate than it actually is...

discounts=rebates + tore=rent.

Hi PS.

Tore = past tense of the verb 'to tear'.. Roughly speaking, he tore his robe = he rent his robe.
