Have pencilled in "In Autumn" but I cannot justify it with the clue.

Autumn has only got 6 letters, so that's a bit of a giveaway :-)

AU is the chemical symbol for gold, which may fit in with your thinking, but poetry isn't my strong point I'm afraid. Sorry. Good luck, hope you get it.

Hi.

You are closer to the answer than you perhaps realise. The answer is made up of lots of abbreviations.
And "TS Eliot" is a bit formal, isn't it?

Hi again.

I think TO AUTUMN (poem by John Keats) is made up of:

TOM (TS Eliot) + AU (gold) + TU (first letters of "trophy usually") + N (name).
