Hi everyone and thanks for the clues. Have now finished. Incidentally, I have a monosyllabic daughter - I just get, yes, no, yes, OK, yes no...... when I phone her. I feel I am always firing off questions at her but cant get her into a conversation and yes, I have tried the old open question technique!!!!! Always come off the phone and bang my head against the wall.
