I missed it too the first time I looked - check last entry under rouse(1) - listed under 'rouse on' (Aust).

Given the theme, should the part of the grid within the boundary be left blank or completed?

Hi, son1ofrover1, I don’t think that the preamble requires us to do more than highlight the boundary and resolve the clashes, so I’d advise not doing anything to the letters inside the boundary, just enter them normally

A welcome relief after last week’s efforts. It’s good to finish at 12:30 pm on Saturday, not 12:30 am on Sunday.

I have the boundary and what may come out of it, but I also have five unresolved clashes that don't appear to thematic. I must be missing something, but so far I haven't found any thematic element to resolve them.

21d - misprint is in first word. A rat is a despicable person - another word for this surrounded by first 4 letters of Sienna. Hope this helps!

Jaye, 21d has a misprint in the first word. It's a container with the 'box' formed by half the letters of the Italian city. I could really find a clear equivalence between 'rat' and the four-letter word it stands for.
