Yes Sally some good stuff there.
Anyway can you shed any light on who Elise actually was,as the experts never seem to have agreed on this.

It is disputed this is one explanation http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Did_Fur_elise_ever_mean_For_elise glad you liked the music anyway.

Thank you all so much for taking an interest in this one. I think music is very important, and trying to narrow it down to eight is so difficult. There are so many that we have to leave out. I like a lot of Handel, such as the Harmonious Blacksmith, the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, Silent Worship, Where Ere You Walk, etc etc.

I also love brass bands and trumpet music. Philip McCann comes from Bo'ness and teaches at Huddersfield Technical College. His cornet playing has a wonderful tone. On trumpet, of course, there is Wynton Marsalis, both Jazz and Classical.

I could haver on about music all night, but won't.
