BAZZA: me again. My husband suddenly came out with a name of a tennis player. First name begins with "M" and second with "S", ending in "a". Pretty sure this is correct. If so, that's me finished - let's hope all the answers are correct!!!

Thanks Haeremai18, and well done on finishing. 51 & 59 ticked and I have an answer to 25 - A..L..S, I assume the L is port but have no idea how the rest relates.

BAZZA: re 25 - it looks as if you are the same wavelength as me! Don't really know how I got the answer so let's hope it is right. Have you now got all the answers or do you need any more hints? You would think I was a professional the way I am speaking - it remains to be seen if my answers are correct!!

I'm new to this thread - what a great idea it is!
I'm stuck with just three:
34: PA + something to make a skeletal joint? I'm just not getting it!
54: Truly clueless. It must be fairly obvious, though, as no other participant has asked about it?
71: Can't find a sensible anagram of CANQUAINTROSE.
I'm pretty confident with my answers to the other 97, and happy to trade clues. Any takers?

Haeremai18 and Bazza:
25: "around" as in "circa" or "c."
"port": think "Red Sea" - it is "a port"
"South Africa": think car country codes like GB, IRL, D, CH etc. (and remember the Dutch influence!)

Acoustionicus.

54. Led astray indicates an anagram. Think popular TV program with a French Cafe in it.

71 starts with conker type oakay fruit. Some help with 87 would be appreciated but please don't say anagram of fear of a pub because the only one is hardly a comedy drama !

I am sorry to say that the answer is an anagram - first used as a description of Italian comic operas (according to Wikipedia)

Thanks Acoustionicus - it was the "around" that misled me. 34 think counting votes + a. Now if I could just find a novelist in "a man wince" (91) I'd be done.
