Hello, Elle!
Well, I buy "special" cards for my family, and "ordinary" ones for everyone else.
There are super ones at Pine Cone.
That is very many you send.
I sometimes send Donkey Sanctuary charity cards.
I like donkeys.
Every donkey has a cross on it's back.
Did you know that?
I have been looking at Chromebooks online and have discovered that the Asus brand takes it's name from Pegasus.
I wonder why they dropped the "Peg" ?
Still a bit wet here!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, we do the same!
And I have not yet bought the special individual family cards....... only the charity boxed cards .
I enjoy choosing the individual cards, and finding nice appropriate words for the intended recipient.
No, I did not know that about donkeys!
I wonder if this is because Jesus rode a donkey to his crucifixion?
Do you know the circumstances of the cross upon the donkey's back?
How did it originate? Has it always been there?
I can see why "Pegasus" should be chosen as a name for the computer - it is a good one!
The winged horse symbolised knowledge and wisdom..... it makes the computer brand sound very elite!
But, no, I don't know why the "peg" was dropped!
Are you definitely planning to treat yourself to an Asus Chromebook then?

Hello, Elle!
Yes, the legend says the donkey carried Jesus and ever since donkeys have had the cross on their backs.
And a donkey carried Mary to Bethlehem, they say.
I have not gone into it, but call up donkeys in Google and you will see for yourself.
Or "donkeys and the cross" and you can read about it.
It is a nice story!
I did not know Pegasus symbolised knowledge and wisdom.
Maybe there is a brand "Pegasus" already taken, hence "Asus"?
No, I am going to get another Chromebook but not sure which to get.
Asus, Acer, or Dell. Decisions!
I just want a very simple one.
Don't need one that links to a printer or anything.
The bridge is closed to double decked buses this evening.
Not very windy here, either.

A Very good morning to you, Rusty!
A dull but dry, warmish day here!
I hope your weather has improved since yesterday?
I am about to make coffee and take a look at my crosswords.......
Then some household chores......
No specific plans for today at present.
Just take it how it comes.......
How about you?

Good morning, Elle!
Rain, rain, rain, here!
I am just home from Currys.
Had a good browse at the Chromebooks.
They have cut more prices today.
I am going to go tomorrow for one.
I was at the baker for jammy doughnuts!

Hi, Rusty!
We have a blue sky and the sun shining here, now.......a lovely day!
Well, I reversed my intentions.....
I have the washing dealt with, the floor hoovered , the dusting done.......I am a positive whirlwind!
I can now sit down and have a go at the crossword....
Yesterday's "flowed" so well for me, that I am expecting a hard struggle today, by contrast.
Have you done yours yet?

Hello, Elle!
Lucky you with the fine weather!
Wet and dour here!
I have just finished the puzzle.
Quite a good one today!
One or two tricky ones but that is the way it should be!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
I have all but finished the 15 x 15, too!
Apart from 1a.......I couldn't do this one?
I have C?P?R?S?N
I have no ideas.....?
I am sure that my letters are correct, as I have done all the other clues and I think that I have parsed them all correctly .
I though it a nice puzzle.
My favourites were Socratic, deerskin, cox, and orchestra.
These just appealed to me the most!
We still have lovely sunshine and are about to go out for a walk!

Hello, Elle!
It is the ornamental trappings that horses wear sometimes.
Fleece is "con"
A Trojan prince is "a Paris"
Giving "caparison".
I liked "taxis"!

Hi, Rusty!
Thank you!
I never thought of Paris!
And I had never heard of the word "caparison".
However did you know that?
It was a good job that I knew that a davenport was a writing desk........or I might have got stuck there, too.
We had an enjoyable walk in the park.
There is rather a strong wind getting up, though.
Has your rain stopped?
