26a I think silk dress is the defn. I got this from working backwards. Can't parse it though

Can now parse TASAR: T as a R, i.e. change "canty" (Sc. cheerful) to "canary"!
BUT I'm still desperate about my last four, if anyone can give a few hints:
Across 13,21,31; Down 25
(although I have most numbers of course).
Not the easiest "L" !!!

13 word with 1 or 2 apostrophes in it
21 synonym for sports with one letter changed as described
31 three letter person who causes pain etc + three letters applying to recipes or prescriptions
25 Scottish word for pants (as in puffs) changed as specified
