Can now parse TASAR: T as a R, i.e. change "canty" (Sc. cheerful) to "canary"!
BUT I'm still desperate about my last four, if anyone can give a few hints:
Across 13,21,31; Down 25
(although I have most numbers of course).
Not the easiest "L" !!!
