The clue splits at bookshop/would....the grid A bit(if I'm correct)should more properly read "is ON bookshop"

I remember it now - I got stuck on the 'writer' part, I was looking for a name. It's more another word for writer, as in the creator of a report, the first version of something.

21ac - i think the definition is element's but I have t-b-a-
An s needs to be added but I can only come up with stibial. Yet the element is stibium.
Can anyone shed some light?
