We can all cheer for Georgia to beat Argentina, but I wouldn't bet on it.
BTW Hibs were robbed yet again at Ibrox today.
Not a good week end.

Hi jazzgirl. I find the two Bradfords are very useful. My old one's have been with me for about 10 years and were very well used. The new one are larger and thicker than the old ones. I feel a little twinge of regret at putting them for recycling, but console myself with the thought that they will be reborn! ;0)

hello all,

I have not gone "overboard" or walked any plank, just been really busy, and not much access to a computer.

Hope you are all well and still willing to persiflage.

Pastille, glad to have you back.
We've recently had 'haverers' and we've just had 'persiflage' - maybe we should come up with a new title, theme?
How about 'Civilised discourse and occasional forays into semi-relevant avenues of discussion'?

What a snappy title!

Short and to the point!

I like it!

I noticed on another thread that you also come from Edinburgh.
With your proposed title for a new thread, may I suggest you consider joining me in the illustrious local Society. I would be pleased to nominate you as an Associate of the Royal Society (Edinburgh).

Joker,

Will now have to think the whole night how I can get a "Dundee-ism" in there somehow!

Not going to easy...then again I was born in Arbroath...rethink. x
