Hi jazzy
As I said, doesn't quite make sense. Why the first "squeeze" rather than "squeezed", and why two definitions?

sorry Chrise, my eyesight is causing few problems today. I just misread the first word.

I've still got six to do, which I just can't see. Could I have a hint for 13d. Is the definition an islander?

Yes, 13d defn. is an islander.
The clue is a cryptic definition: 2, 4-3

Thanks Geeker

I'm making heavy weather of this today. Just the one left, which is 20d, but perhaps I've got 27ac wrong as I can't actually parse it. A hint for 20d might be enough to sort me out.

20 my favourite clue. def. "fodder" (for animals)

I don't think I've heard the US expression at 4 etc. without another 4 letter word preceding it.
