I have four left in bottom left but think I might have gone wrong. In particular, for 16,22 I have ?I?H?R?./C?U?T? . Is the definition the last two words of the clue?
For 21A I have ?H?G?/S??. Any help appreciated.

I always struggle with Paul and this week very much so. I’ve only got 4d and 22d and no idea of the theme. Tempted to give up now but with a general clue to the theme that might get me started maybe I can persevere. What kind of TV show is it?

Classic US comedy from the 60s and 70s. More latterly films.

Ok…

As ever as soon I post a comment things start to come together. I’ve got 10 24 now so hope the theme will reveal itself in due course. 🤞

One of the words of 10, 24 is key to the programme

The internet is currently awash with memes of people doing the 27a dance.

Rocky, way to get out of gaol!

Thank you.
Solving 25a gave me the theme. I know the program from the original but still not doing very well with this. Might leave it for now, often everything magically drops into place on Sunday morning. 🤞😊

I started well solving first ones straightaway including 10,24, though I was still not sure what the theme was. There was only one word I could get that fits 8ac, but that hasn't been much help as I'm not really familiar with this US cartoon series. I've googled a bit, but still can't find the name of the dance in 27ac referred to by someone above.

I've been laid low with a bad cold and the brain isn't ticking over so please can I have a hint for 13d and for 14d. Is Legion another American series? I've never seen it. Do I need the name of the Grand Inquisitor in 9ac - there were a lot of them in the Spanish Inquisition.

What do you mean by GK? Is it General knowledge?

I'm off with my strepsils to try a few more.
