Thanks pauly. A bit of a stretch!

I thought this was great. (10, 24) was my FOI, and I thought I’d be all set, but no. Solving 8 got me the theme, but my main knowledge of it comes from the pinball machine, so I needed google to confirm parsing of some of the other themed clues.
I don’t like that spelling of 3, but never mind. I liked (7, 27), although it’s not the best clue in a crowded field. My COD is 6a which really made me laugh, but 6d runs it close. LOI 9.

I admit to being ignorant of the theme, although I was familiar with the name in 8a and realised that's what it was about - it was still possible to solve it. But I can't parse 25 - I get the definition and the inside letters that 'wrap up' 10, but can't see how the outside part could relate to the theme. Unless it's a Pauline variant on 6d.

LOI 8a when 10, 24 finally clicked! although able to solve references without being able to parse.
