I have shaded in 18d but now I'm having 2nd thoughts after reading all this thread???

Yes I have 18d as a medical procedure

June - 17d does not have the distinctive feature required by the theme

June - you need to shade "part" of a clue.

Sudokulover - my "ninth" covers the end of one answer and the start of another!?

I have completed the crossword, but cannot find the 9th AtoZ to shade in. I know it will be a mixture of two answers, but just cannot see it. Can I ask what letter it begins with please ! Thanks. ;o)
