Hi philip,
Tastes of - as in smacks of fish etc. Didn't time myself because i was pottering round the kitchen. I quite liked 20a but i wasn't thinking of waders...

Hi Everyone, continuing the Cheshire thread - I'm a Cestrian, but no longer live there!
Didn't find this week's too hard, although maybe I'm speaking too soon.... really, really stuck on my last clue, so quite possibly have 16a wrong

Can't work out 4d Naivety worsens in dull setting - I've got

-N-O-L-L-N-S- - the second 'l' is my answer to 16a which could be wrong....

Any help, please???

Many thanks, Karen - I was off on another tack altogether, although I was trying to think of another word for naivety - call me stupid....

I've got Cheshire in my postal address too - so I think I'm going to join the Cheshire set and have a go at this crossword, (never tried it before).

Hi Crypto, Good Luck. Since I've been using this forum, it's been a spur for me, especially when people are saying they've finished it in 40 minutes - no names mentioned....

I dont time myself as I dip in and out,and I'm not about to keep a log! Sometimes I think it puts others off asking for help when some finish so quickly. It's more fun giving others hints and tips (keeps the "chatter" flowing). Karenx

Hi Karen. Point taken about timing. Also, possibly, sounds a bit pompous. This was not intended. Just a nervy way of opening communication. The RT thread is good because of the banter and the clues given to help others. It was certainly this aspect of previous threads that drew me into having a go at the crossword. Long may it continue! Hope you enjoy the challenge Crypto!
