10 & 33a are normal clues. 10a reconsidered is an Anagrind. 33a
synonym of story + Latin abbreviation for of her age.
30a includes 1 letter-pair, 35a 2. 30a synonym for end within spots. 35a affected is an Anagrind.

I have 30a now ....do the 2 letters go in the crossing cell with 26d (I have an A S council for the answer but can't parse the rest)

...typical ...as i post ...i immediately see the parse for it!

I just have one clue left to solve and that is 29d. Central part of flight from big city, returning on railroad to the Bronx (4). The only words that fit are NEWS and NEWT, or perhaps it's something that's not in the dictionary. Thanks.
