I was so convinced that Rising menial... starts with B that I never even thought of A,

7a and 7d are 4 letters each.
B is the only letter that has 4 letter answers.
But I ger ?RL?? for 11A.
I have no 5 letter answer that has ?RL??.

If you need any answers, let me know.

Well, I still have a few to solve but the Fresh pair is span, so there are two 4 letter answers starting with S.

Wizards is Lizards . Guanas.
Complaint is (B)leat+s or Leats.

S does not work. With SNEE, you need a 4 letter answer starting with N
in 8D,

I now have 6 of the misprinted letters AAOFEL and wonder if all 10 would be the key to unlocking the puzzle.

i have different letters.
C for Scent/Spent, O for Loan/Lean, E for Bone/Bond
A for Tasted/Tested, F for Fool/Cool, L for Lizards/Wizards.

I finally got Antique harrows. Harrow mean Alas.
Had never heard of Ale as Festival.

In order the letters so far are CO EA FL A

Oh I forgot to say that SNEE/SPAN could work at 7.

Those three are also my unsolved clues and I reckon they must all have misprints. I don't really think snee/ span is feasible. The misprinted letters have to be arranged in normal clue order, which should help with positioning the answers.
There are too many 7 letter answers and 2 nine letter ones too.
