slowstarter- you mention the chemical symbol for iron (Fe) but you've used the chemical symbol for tin (SN). You have all the right letters but not in the right order. Read the clue again and follow it.

No.30 is a bag/pack that is worn on the back - as there is more than one term to describe this pack, you need to check the meanings of each syllable.

Where in the house would people keep a large stock of wine? Then don't think of the obvious for season. Check your answer in Chambers.

The second word refers to policemen - a common word to describe them. Look it up in Chambers and i think the last definition should lead you to the answer.

I think I'm happy with the second word, assuming its small change. Is the first word the obvious definition for parched. If so I can't see the fit with powerful or a drinking bout.
Or am I being thick. If so, please give me another lead someone. Thanks
