Calliewag Sorry not much sleep last night A RUM THRILLER

I finally managed to get that one, twinsnan. It's 81 I can't fathom: 'writer, nearly ten, amazingly, constructed this metallic plant'.

Calliewag it,s an anagram of nearly ten, a lady author then look up her books

Famous 5 It's driving me mad, I know it's hovering somewhere in what used to be my brain (up since 3am with an incontinent old labrador, not really an excuse) I get the bed cover sort of thing, I hope, just can't get any nearer yet. Will keep trying.

Calliewag Oh my goodness. So blindingly obvious. I can only blame my lack of sleep, although that doesn't explain other lapses. Thank you and Famous 5 + anyone who helped on that simple one.

And thank you Twinsnan - I finally solved 81. I'd been including 'writer' in the anagram - no wonder it didn't work!
