I have made it Etons - Chambers gives etons as clothes, and the wordplay comes from "canetons" - ducklings on a menu

Thanks "silly boy". etons certainly would explain the posh clothing. i suppose ducklings could give "os" et could sound like eat which may explain the menu but there is a stray n in there. or maybe my thinking is up the wall - any suggestions?
