4 Several good ideas, but I couldn't find any of them in the dictionary, unfortunately!
5 LAISSER-FAIRE - permissive, anagram serials afire (the imperative LAISSEZ is more common, but I don't see why the infinitive LAISSER shouldn't be used as well.)

Wow! Looks like they ARE more difficult this week. Well done Chris (3 & 5) and Jazzy (5).
Methinks I'll leave them up there for the moment, to give Ari a chance to dazzle us.
Hope they're not TOO difficult for 5@5. We seem to be missing some of the regulars this week.
