Thanks. I thought of that; didn`t seem to make sense, but I can see it now. Mags.

Well, I started this at 11.56 and here I am just over an hour later, with 3 still to do. Finding this very hard so off to lunch for some brain-fuelling food.
What a clown: I misspelt 2d first word, and tried to fit in the wrong shrub at 20a which obviously didn't work. Well done all those who have finished. Back later. J

Finally finished. I thought that was the hardest for some weeks. (Spag.Bol is obviously a good booster for the little grey cells)

Spag Bol is very healthy. I had a `can`t be bothered` lunch - egg and chips! So no wonder I am still stuck on 3d. Tried Quick Solve; hundreds of answers, none seemed right! A clue, please!! mags.

Hi Mags
3d is where a certain type of aircraft would land. Now eating raspberries (no cream!)

Forgot to say: it's not in quick solve - I've just checked. Think of "Budgie" by Fergy

Jazzgirl - must be telepathy - i`ve just got it
but fitting it to the clue is quite convoluted!
Thanks anyway, M.

Hello everyone! A nice sunny day (at last) here in Warwickshire. I am stuck on 3d also but Fergy and Budgie mean nothing to an old gal like me. Can I have another clue please? also, I think I have 2d but it interferes with what I thought was the answer to 7a so am back to the drawing board. Feel a bit dubious at my being able to get the plant clue as am not terribly up on plants. Still, will keep looking and hope that someone else gets stuck too.
All the best to you all, especially any poorly ones.
