Much as I enjoy the various sports I can't help thinking that the world was a better place when architecture, literature, music, painting, sculpture and er... town planning were olympic gold medal disciplines.

You mean during the time I call Pre-Education- when people did know enough to create so many ugly things.

I say bring back croquet!
Though, these days they might be clad in Lycra or Spandex.

I can't watch the Games, as I have no TV, etc., until August 9th, and I should love to be able to, as my granddaughter part-choriographied, and is dancing in the opening ceremony.
