I'm having it too then because I've looked at it again and it can't really be anything else.

I understand your hesitancy about 100, but I believe it is a de facto placename even if it is not strictly the name of a city, town or village. Its Wikipedia entry refers to it as "an area in...", so to my mind that makes it a placename.

It was only because all the others (up to now) are towns and cities that I hesitated to enter the name.
I am enjoying it and I'm nearly three quarters way there with 148 answers.
I keep going back to a select few because they're in the middle of a block and I know the first letter, but just can't crack them.
It's good that you've mixed in large cities with villages to keep us on our toes

I agree with you Les40 about mixing towns and villages. Especially pleased to see No. 66 included as my niece and her husband live there (not many others do!) and I didn't even realise it was on a map! Hope many more continue to support this excellent quiz.

MaisieP - The answer I have for No. 66 is a town of 20000 inhabitants and is undoubtedly on the map. I wonder if one of us has the wrong answer?

Hi Lynette. I got my answer from an anagram and have had another look at it but can't see any other answer - perhaps there are two possibles?

I must have the same as you for 66.
I just checked the population and it matches.

I now see your town which I would say is definitely correct - still like my small village answer but I was maybe too quick to jump in there!

It's a shame your village did not get an appearance. Neither did my hometown and that is very big!
