I'm still stuck on 1, 69 and 99. Any clues please?

1. Words for country + boy + y
69. Anagram of first two words in clue less the letter I
99. Anagram of two words within the clue

Thank you Anotheray. 1 and 69 now sorted. I thought 69 ended with L so have obviously got another clue wrong! Have been trying to find an anagram for 99 so back to the drawing board.

Have been through all answers on page 3 and still have 19! Please could anyone confirm if 80 starts or finishes with L? Many thanks.

Hi Eliza -Yes it begins with L - last two letters from only with the name of a freshwater carnivorous mammal having webbed and clawed feet and dark brown fur inside

And finally,I see you agree that on p. 1 15 answers begin with L.I have 1 too many if that is so.Can s'one please tell me which of these that is? 1,4,5,8,9,11,12,13,14,16,19,20,23,25,26,27.

greedykite - my answer to 8 ends in an L. I have a Q re no.30. I have what I think is the right answer; I get the 10 letter anagram but why does Izzard get reduced to a 'z'? Or is it a 9-letter anagram with 'iz'? But then why'...I pull...'?
